Requirements for Mutual Fund

1	Sponsor shall apply to the Commission duly filled up Form-ক of প্রথম তফসিল of the বাংলাদেশ সিকিউরিটিজ অ্যান্ড এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশন (মিউচ্যুয়াল ফান্ড) বিধিমালা, ২০২৫ (hereinafter referred as ‘বিধিমালা’) along with application fee and other required documents. After approval of the draft Trust Deed and draft Investment Management Agreement (IMA), the draft Trust Deed shall be registered. The copies of the registered Trust Deed and final IMA have to be submitted to the Commission along with the registration fee and bank statement of Sponsor’s contributions. If satisfied, the Commission shall issue registration certificate in favor of the Fund in Form-ঙ of প্রথম তফসিল of the বিধিমালা. After registration as per বিধি ১০ of the বিধিমালা, the draft Prospectus and draft abridged version of Prospectus (prepared as per পঞ্চম তফসিল of the বিধিমালা) of the Scheme of the Fund shall be submitted to the Commission for approval along with the statement of Escrow account (reflecting the amount collected through private placements, if any). If satisfied, the Commission shall approve the Scheme of the Fund and give consent for the Publication of the Prospectus and abridged version of Prospectus and collect initial subscription through public offer. The Trustee shall authorize the Asset Manager to commence the investment activities of the Scheme in accordance with the Investment Management Agreement (IMD) after completion of initial subscription subject to the approval of the Commission for the formation of the Scheme.
